The Concerning of the Boss (US company)

During this once-in-a-century pandemic, U.S. companies have shown unprecedented concern about their funding. Federal Reserve researchers recently conducted a survey using a smart reading program to review more than 600 U.S. company earnings conference calls in the last month to see the impact of the pandemic.

The results show that about 42% of U.S. non-financial public companies are discussing significant investment cuts, 27% are discussing cutting dividends, and 17% are considering credit. This underscores the serious lack of confidence that U.S. companies have shown about the future under the enormous pressure from the recession.

The U.S. economy is expected to suffer its worst slump in a century.
